ALBANY - A group of activists were arrested Monday afternoon when they refused to leave Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's office.
Members of the Saratoga Peace Alliance's Occupation Project were in the federal building for a meeting with Clinton regional representative Tracey Brooks, said Jeffrey Halpern, who was one of those arrested.
The group of 16 had sent a message through Brooks asking Clinton to vote to pull funding for the war and vote against the war appropriations bills. At the meeting, Brooks relayed Clinton's response, which was that she would not vote to pull funds, Halpern said.
